Kristin first became mildly obsessed with personal finance while sitting in AP Calc in high school. Seeing the value of investing early changed the trajectory of my life. I started at 18 and read everything I could. Life, however, led me to the high school classroom where I taught high school math and coached soccer, basketball, and lacrosse for ten years.
I realized that while I could help my students get a financial head start by explaining concepts, the real work was outside the classroom. Working with families trying to go from making a living to making a life. Taking their income to fund their dreams, lowering their concerns, and giving confidence in their financial decisions.
When not working, you will most likely find me mentoring local high school students at my church, walking the beach, working out, or my latest hobby of leatherworking.
